    The ERN Skin deals with rare and complex skin diseases. The ERN Skin brings together 56 expert centers from 18 EU member states with different focal points and is coordinated by the Necker Enfants Malades Hospital (France). Prof. Kathrin Giehl, Center for Rare and Genetic Skin Diseases at the Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology, is responsible for the local management of this ERN at the LMU-Klinikum, combined with a membership on the board of the ERN Skin. more

Founded in 2002 by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, it aims to improve nationwide research into viral liver inflammation and the care of patients with chronic viral hepatitis. Since 2007, the German Liver Foundation has been the sponsor of the "Hepatitis Competence Network" in order to continue the successful work of the research association after the end of public funding in 2010. more
