Center for International Health (CIH)
Since 2009, the Center for International Health at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich offers a platform for all departments within the Medical Faculty of LMU and outside which are involved in international cooperation in medical research education.
The aim of the CIHLMU and its partners is to improve the health conditions in low and middle-income countries by promoting medical education and research. We support the local training of medical professionals, train professors maintain up-to-date instructing techniques, and develop innovative curricula with our partners taking into account the local conditions. With our support, the partner universities are able to define their own training and research content, to integrate into international knowledge networks, to implement their research results.
