Academic International Network

In order to undertake global interdisciplinary research that is far-reaching and impactful LMU Faculty of Medicine and the University Hospital are active members of several academic networks.

  • Global Alliance of Medical Excellence (GAME)

    The Global Alliance of Medical Excellence (GAME) is an international, strategical network of nine partner universities and their medical faculties respectively. The purpose of the network is to accomplish innovative and impactful cooperation in research and teaching together, to achieve profound impact on the health sciences and the medical education. more

  • LMU - China Academic Network (LMU-ChAN)

    China is becoming increasingly important in science.
    Since 2015 LMU Munich has established the "LMU China Academic Network" in order to provide institutional support and expand the diverse collaborations with the best universities in China and Hong Kong. more

  • League of European Research Universities (LERU)

  • Center for International Health (CIH)

  • EUGLOH - European University Alliance for Global Health

    In association with the universities of Paris-Saclay (France), Lund (Sweden), Porto (Portugal) and Szeged (Hungary), LMU is the only Bavarian university to participate in one of a total of 17 EU-funded European network universities. Under the title "EUGLOH - European University Alliance for Global Health", the network partners jointly develop interdisciplinary activities in study and teaching related to the topic "Global Health" for the establishment of a common European health area. more
